My name is Leonard Alexander C.E.O of the non-profit Fearless Dreamers, General Contractor, and President of Alexander Builders Corporation. I hold a Journeyman’s Card as a Master Carpenter and professional a craftsman. I’m also a former alumnus of the I.D.O.C. by way of Cook County Jail, so I qualify to be at the table engaging in conversation about prison reform and developing programs for our youth to help alleviate the “school to prison pipeline”. Our objective is to take the trades in to our people wherever they are, may it be schools, after school programs or penal facilities. Our goal is to address Mass Incarceration with Mass Education in the trades.
